LAKE OROVILLE STATE RECREATION AREA DWR will reopen public access to the Spillway Boat Ramp Facilities on August 9, 2019 HOUR OF OPERATIONS Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Please allow for additional time to access the Spillway Boat Ramp. New CHP security kiosks have been installed to ensure public and facility safety. NI TAT The Department of Water Resources is investing more than $30 million on a number of recreation improvement projects to enhance visitor access and experiences at the Lake Oroville State Recreation Area.
