Acquired in 1970, the Crisp Warehouse Facility has been one of the largest centralized Grain facilities for California's domestic mills. The family owned company, started by Jack Crisp, was purchased in 1994 by his son, Jim Crisp, now owned and operating under the name of JC Diversified Enterprises, Inc. DBA Crisp Warehouse.
The Facility is federally licensed and bonded by the USDA Federal Warehouse Act with a storage capacity of approximately 3 million bushels or about 90,000 short tons.
Our general market area consists of the Central San Joaquin Valley, Firebaugh to the north and Bakersfield to the south. Crisp Warehouse, under direction of the second generation management, has dedicated its marketing plan to providing quality service to the Farmers and Millers in which we serve.
To ensure proper isolation, processing and packaging of the premium cereal grains we offer, Crisp Warehouse also operates one of the largest Seed Cleaning facilities in the San Joaquin Valley. Capable of producing 200+ tons per day of quality seed products gives us the flexibility to offer many different varieties from one processing facility.
In 2003, Crisp Warehouse expanded it's cereal grain approach to include all Domestic regions of the US as well as foreign export customers to develop additional demand for the premium cereal products grown in the San Joaquin Valley. Our accelerated growth in the industry will not affect our primary objective which is local people providing premium products with local service and support. Crisp Warehouse has dedicated itself to this philosophy to ensure our position ”to provide better people, products, service and support than our competitors.” Anyone that has done business with us for the past several years can attest to that.
Crisp Warehouse is a food market located in Stratford, CA.
