Welcome Flora Varghese, MD, FACS Breast Health and General Surgery Flora Varghese, MD, FACS is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. She believes in providing compassionate, individualized care and specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures and breast surgery for patients 18 years of age and older. Dr. Varghese completed medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. In addition to completing a general surgery internship and residency at Baylor Scott & White Health and a fellowship in breast surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, she also received her Master's in Health Management from the University of Texas Dallas. Proudly serving as a major in the United States Air Force, Dr. Varghese had the opportunity to work in medical facilities in the United Kingdom, Japan and Qatar, serving on numerous medical boards and advisory councils.
