Recology How to recycle WASTE ZEROFOOD CANS USE IT REUSE IT CLEAN Canned food items are used by every household. Not everyone eats tuna, but you might use cans for dog food, cat food, canned vegetables, soups, beans, broths or chili. The same ideas here can be applied to most of your plastic on glass food containers like baby foods or others we've mentioned for the typical aluminum variety Cans are useful in tons of ways! Obviously they are instant storage containers for anything not requiring a lid. Cans can also be a fun toy for kids (the old telephone on a string is still cool!). Aluminum cans also make great temporary decorations nearly any holiday character can be painted on a can. Have fun and be creative with reusing. Only cleaned and dry recyclables will be accepted. Please clean them before they go in the recycling. Dirty cans and other recyclables can grow mold or contaminate entire carts if not properly cleaned beforehand Meet Brittney!
